We are boldly paving the way as a leader in economic development, SBA lending, and business incubation. The promotion of two of our seasoned leaders is our next step in our path forward. Harry Blanton has been named Sr. Vice President of Economic Development and Andy Young has been named Sr. Vice President of Lending.
Harry Blanton has been promoted to Sr. Vice President of Economic Development. Previously Harry served as the Vice President for 29 years. Harry oversees the programs of the Economic Development Office (EDO) created by the Hamilton County Commissioners. The EDO provides economic development services to the communities and businesses of Hamilton County and focuses on business retention, expansion, and attraction utilizing incentive, financing, and site development programs. Under Harry’s leadership, the scope of services provided to our community has grown, including the addition of the Office of Innovation + Creativity.
Andy Young has been promoted to Sr. Vice President of Lending. Previously Andy served as the Vice President of Lending and has been with us for over 37 years. He oversees the staff providing the SBA 504 Loan Program in Ohio, Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. He also directs the State of Ohio Regional 166 Loan Program. Both programs promote economic development, business expansion, and job creation by providing financing that fits the needs of small businesses. Since 1983, Andy has been involved in over $1 Billion in SBA loan projects representing the creation and retention of nearly 10,000 jobs.
Both Harry and Andy have been an instrumental part of our success over the years, and they continue to make contributions to this organization to help us move forward. “I’m proud to promote two seasoned employees to Sr. Vice-Presidents’ roles. Their leadership and outstanding contributions to their departments has set the foundation for growth for our organization,” said Patrick Longo, President and CEO.
