Alloy’s 40th Anniversary Summer Soiree Marks a Resounding Success

Cincinnati, Ohio, 7/6/23 – Alloy Development Co, an economic development corporation specializing in SBA 504 lending, startup incubation, and economic development programming celebrated its 40th Anniversary Summer Soiree on June 29th at their campus in Cincinnati, and the event surpassed all expectations, leaving attendees buzzing with excitement. An official proclamation was made by the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners and by the City of Norwood in order to proclaim June 29th as “Alloy Development Day”.

The Summer Soiree, a milestone celebration for Alloy, brought together a diverse and vibrant community of professionals, including government officials, banking professionals, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from the Cincinnati startup ecosystem. The event served as a testament to Alloy’s commitment to building strong communities and fostering meaningful connections.

The festivities kicked off with an impressive lineup of activities, including an energetic pickleball court by Nettie Pickleball Co., which provided an exciting and competitive atmosphere. The beats of DJ Monet filled the air, creating an electric ambiance that had guests dancing and grooving throughout the evening.

The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary, as Red Sesame, Pata Rojas, and Skyline Chili delighted taste buds with their mouth watering creations. MadTree Brewing Company and Really Good Boxed Wine ensured that guests were treated to a delightful selection of beverages, perfectly complementing the delectable cuisine.

Alloy’s commitment to sustainability shone through the zero waste initiative in collaboration with GoZERO Services, Food Waste Compost Courier. Cups, napkins, silverware, and  plates used at the event were composted responsibly, aligning with Alloy’s dedication to creating environmentally conscious events. Moreover, their partnership with Last Mile Food Rescue, helped reduce food waste by distributing surplus food to those in need, making a positive impact on the local community. The organizers worked with EventMapStudio to ensure all sustainability goals were achieved. 

The event not only celebrated Alloy’s remarkable 40-year journey but also provided an exceptional platform for networking, collaboration, and idea exchange. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, forging new relationships and strengthening existing ones.
