Growth is good, and 4th Floor Creative continues to grow. The flourishing video production firm, most closely associated with FC Cincinnati, but who also produces videos for multiple universities, colleges, leagues, teams, and companies throughout the country is leaving the roost here. We will be sad to see them go, but we are happy for their continued success and growth.
It was back in 2015 that Founder & President Tom Gelehrter decided to follow his dreams, and start an agency of his own. The firm’s name – “4th Floor Creative” – pays homage to his time at the University of Cincinnati’s Richard Lindner Center where they were literally on the “4th” Floor. After a meeting with Pat Longo, he found the space he needed to thrive – another “4th Floor” location in our incubator. With a team of 3 and a few cameras, they moved into their space in July 2015. As they approach their 6-year anniversary they are now a team of 8, in a space that is 7 times the size of their original. Sales and revenue growth has been consistent over the years, but then COVID hit and they were impacted significantly. Thankfully their success over the years made up for the downfall and they were able to ride out the turbulence. With this growth, the time is right for 4th Floor Creative to graduate.
“We are incredibly lucky to have spent the last 5.5 years growing our business here. There was no way we could fully understand the impact of the many ways their programs would influence 4th Floor Creative since our founding. Without their support, guidance, and partnership, we would not be where we are today. We will be forever grateful for their friendship, mentorship, and leadership”, said Tom Gelehrter, Found and President of 4th Floor Creative.
